I love summertime — I’m definitely a warm weather person. My husband and I were just talking about how summer feels so different at each stage of life. As kids, it’s all about that magical stretch of time off school. Then adulthood hits, and the idea of “summer break” fades. But when you become a parent? It comes full circle.
For me now, summer means slowing down, making memories with my kids, taking more time off work, and truly relishing this season while they’re still little.
Our meals this time of year reflect that energy — fun, a little nostalgic, kid-friendly, but still organic, nourishing, and functional.
