Soft, golden, and naturally sweet, these saffron-poached pears are a simple ritual with an elevated feel.

Ingredients

4 medium organic bosc pears, peeled.

3 cups filtered water

½ cup raw organic honey or organic maple syrup

2 tbsp (or 2 sachets)The Fullest Saffron Latte Powder

1 organic cinnamon stick

1 organic vanilla bean (or 1 tsp organic vanilla extract)

Zest of 1 organic orange

Pinch organic sea salt

For Plating: organic toasted pistachios, organic yogurt or organic coconut cream
Instructions

Infuse Syrup: In a large saucepan, simmer water, honey/maple, saffron powder, cinnamon, vanilla, orange zest, salt for 5 min.

Poach Pears: Add pears to the pot with water. Simmer for another 15–20 min, turning occasionally. Avoid boiling to keep pears intacts and prevent them from getting mushy.

Rest: Remove from heat; let sit in syrup 10 min.

Serve: Plate pears with cream or yogurt at the bottom, top with poached pear and drizzle the saffron syrup on top. Finish with toppings.
