Saffron Mulled Apple Cider Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon (or 1 sachet) of The Fullest® Saffron Latte powder
- 1 bottle of organic apple cider
- 1 tsp grated fresh, organic ginger (or 1 tsp ground ginger)
- ½ tsp ground allspice
- 2-3 cinnamon sticks
- 4-5 whole cloves
- 2-3 star anise
- 3-4 cardamom pods, lightly crushed
- 1 tbsp dried rosehips
- 1 tbsp dried licorice root
- ¼ cup local honey (can omit to make less sweet version)
- Optional: 1/2 cup water (for a lighter brew)
Assembly:
- Combine Ingredients: In a large pot, combine the apple cider, spices, and saffron latte powder
- Sweeten: Add honey to taste.
- Heat: Gently heat the mixture over medium-low heat. Heat until it’s steaming and fragrant, about 15-20 minutes.
- Taste and Adjust: Taste the mulled apple cider and adjust sweetness or spice levels as needed.
- Strain and Serve: Strain the mulled apple cider into mugs or heatproof glasses, discarding the spices.
