Ingredients:
-
2 tablespoons (or 2 sachets) of Warm Feelings® saffron latte
- 2 tablespoons organic cacao powder
- 1 cup organic nut butter of choice (e.g., almond, cashew, or peanut butter)
- 2 tablespoons local honey
- 4 tablespoons grass-fed non-denatured whey protein powder
- 2 tablespoons non denatured grass fed whey protein (I use a vanilla flavored one)
- 1 tablespoon Adaptogen or mushroom powder of choice
- 2 tablespoons Keto Brainz nootropic creamer
- 1 heaping tablespoon organic coconut oil, melted (add more if necessary for the bites to properly form)
- Pinch of salt
Assembly:
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine Warm Feelings® saffron latte powder, cacao powder, protein powders, Adaptogen powder, Keto Brainz, and a pinch of salt. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Blend Wet Ingredients: In a small bowl, mix the nut butter, honey, and coconut oil until smooth.
- Combine Everything: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing thoroughly. If the mixture is too dry, add a small amount of water (1 teaspoon at a time) until it holds together.
- Shape into Balls: Scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball with your hands. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
- Chill: Place the protein balls on a parchment-lined plate or tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Store: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 1 month.
*Yield: Approximately 16 protein balls
