In college, I used to take Adderall to focus.
I was prescribed it from my school clinic and it definitely helped me crank through tasks, but it also disconnected me from myself. It narrowed my thinking, made me more rigid, and took me away from the part of me that sees the big picture. That intuitive part that dreams, creates, and moves with confidence.
Weaning off of it was so hard. It wasn’t just the withdrawal symptoms. It was learning to trust that my mind could be clear and focused without compromising my perspective or creativity.
As someone juggling a business, two little ones, a creative brain, and a deep sense of purpose, focus doesn’t always come naturally. And it’s not just about doing more. It’s about being able to stay grounded in my visionwhile also moving through the small, often chaotic, moments of daily life.
Saffron is clinically shown to support dopamine and norepinephrine, two key neurotransmitters that regulate attention, motivation, and clarity. But what makes it unique is how it does that. There’s no crash. No intensity. Just clarity. Calm. A return to center.
Here’s a glimpse into the ritual that’s helped me move from procrastination to flow:
•Wake up early before the house gets busy
•Drink electrolytes and get outside first thing (light and movement = instant clarity)
•Take Kinder Thoughts® saffron capsuleswith breakfast
•Map out 3 clear priorities(not 30)
•Take breaks to reset, walk, breathe, be with my kids
•Swap a second matcha for a Warm Feelings® saffron latte when I want creative focus without overstimulation.
Saffron helps me stay anchored. It allows me to zoom out and see the full vision while still showing up for the small, necessary tasks. It helps me think clearly but not in a way that dulls my intuition. It’s the opposite of suppressive. It’s expansive. If you’ve ever struggled with focus or felt like you had to choose between being productive or being yourself, I promise there’s another way.
With love,
Nikki

I appreciate these pointers, Nikki. I take the Kinder Thoughts…I noticed a change from negative to positive for my inner thoughts in two days! Many thanks. I also appreciate the savings on the subscription for the Kinder Thoughts…it also takes one more thing off my list of to-do’s which I’m working on to make shorter.
