What’s Helping Nikki Reclaim Her Energy Lately
This year, I started to truly reprioritize my wellbeing in a new way.
I’ve needed more sleep lately than I ever have. At first, I felt guilty about it—like I should be able to push through—but I’ve come to realize it’s because of the emotional and mental bandwidth required to move through everything life is asking of me right now. There’s been a lot of transition, and I need rest to process it. Some nights, going to bed when the kids do has been the most healing thing I can do.
Rest has become my anchor. And from that place of rest, I can show up more fully—for my kids, my work, and myself.
Growing THE FULLEST has been a beautiful journey, but even as the founder of a wellness company, I’ve found myself caught in the day-to-day demands of running a business. Because at the end of the day, it is a business that needs me. Layer in motherhood and the desire to be fully present at home, plus the everyday logistics of life, and my own wellness practices quietly fell to the back burner.
But this year, something shifted. I started to make space for me again. And while it’s still a work in progress, these small, steady shifts have made all the difference:
-
Intentional Breaks Midday
Whether it’s walking our puppy, stepping away from my laptop, or starting the day with morning beach walks with my husband, I’ve learned how much these little pauses matter. They ground me, reconnect me to my body and breath, and remind me that presence is everything.
-
Real Self-Care (Not Just the Buzzword)
I finally bought a reformer from a new favorite Australian brand, Your Reformer, and I’ve committed to my Pilates practice in a way that feels balanced and nourishing. I’ve also carved out space for weekly acupuncture, monthly facials, and daily saffron in capsule and latte form. These rituals support my hormones, energy, and mood—especially during times of change.
I’ve also been relearning that the more energy you create, the more energy you have. Movement is essential. It’s easy to skip when life feels full. I’ve definitely done that over the past year and a half, but coming back to consistent, gentle movement has made a profound difference. Sometimes the tiredness is from being too sedentary. Even a short walk or stretch can shift everything.

Staying Consistent, Even Through Change
My goal isn’t perfection, it’s simplicity. A simple, effective routine I can return to, no matter what life throws at me. That’s how I stay centered.
I hope these tools help you feel like yourself again too.
With love,
Nikki
