The Fullest Volume 5: Visions
This issue is dedicated to the hopes, dreams, and visions we’ve had in the past, realized in the present, and yearn for in the future.
We envision the person we want to become, the life we want to create for ourselves, and the mark we want to leave on the world. Visions of our future lives are impacted by our attitudes about ourselves and the world around us, and also by our family and the friends we surround ourselves with.
Like the “Dreamers” who dreamt of a better life and who now risk being sent away from their homes, we collectively dream of a day where people of different races, cultures, and religions will focus more on our commonalities rather than our differences — a day where mass shootings and terror attacks are a thing of the past.
We hope that our country can learn how to come from a place of love and acceptance, not fear and instability. We strive to enter an era where we place more value on policy, change, and innovation that will work to enhance the planet, not destroy it.
Today, we live in a variation of our dreams — one that still has much more work to be done. While it’s important to celebrate our achievements, we must remember to persevere when they don’t materialize or when they turn into disappointment. We must continue dreaming, hoping, and envisioning a safer and more just world. Join us as we explore these visions.
