THE FULLEST Guide to Napa Valley

Don’t be fooled, yes, Napa Valley is famous for its chardonnay and other wine varietals — but outside of its vineyards, it’s also home to a thriving wellness scene. There’s no shortage of world-class spas, mineral hot springs, award-winning restaurants with a focus on natural organic produce, and hiking tails. Plus, their accommodations marry the valley’s natural landscape with incredible architecture and interiors. Here’s our round-up of Napa Valley’s best for your next weekender or getaway.

Auberge du Soleil

Stay here when you want to get to the South of France without leaving California. From classic rooms to private maisons, this estate is sophisticated but understated — basically the definition of everything that is French.

A classic American roadside diner committed to local sourcing? We’re in. Think hormone and antibiotic-free burgers made with local beef, seafood delivered daily always wild and never farmed, fresh burger buns from local bread makers, and hand-spun organic shakes. They also offer gluten-free options — along with a seasonal menu!

For all your beverage needs from caffeine to tea to wine and vinegar, this epicurean boutique has you covered. A sister to Napa Valley Distillery, you can pick up all your pantry and picnic goods here.

Loved by locals, this restaurant is contemporary but classic. We strongly suggest the chopped salad or Dungeness crab rolls made with organic ingredients from their veggie garden.

Long Meadow Ranch & Farmstead

Take farm to table to the next level by enjoying a meal literally on this mini farm; a lovely experience for lunch or dinner (especially if you have kids). FYI, it’s not bang on Main Street but it is definitely within walking distance and great for those who enjoy a post-meal stroll back to their lodgings.

Need a quick breakfast, stop by Station and enjoy their amazing matcha and breakfast snacks. Mainly takeaway but they do have a few tables if you’d like to sit and eat.

Earthy tones and neutrals, modern and millennial, this all-rounder boutique brings lifestyle goods, home decor, and dried flowers together. It’s also full of Instagram-able shelfie moments.

Elyse Walker

A luxury boutique with a well crafted selection of brands. Be sure to ask for the sales associate Corbin — she is the best! For some reason, this location feels much more elevated than the other Elyse Walker stores. So even if you have an Elyse Walker in your neighborhood, be sure to pop in to this location!

Pearl Wonderful Clothing

When in wine country, do as the locals do and adorn your fanciest clothes for their never-ending calendar of fetes and festivals. Need a hand with styling or did you leave your best going out dress at home? Pearl can definitely sort you out.

Gems, floral, and chain link designs adorn the cabinets at this Napa jeweler.
