You’ve heard about its mystical energy vortexes, red rock splendor, and organic foodie havens. We got some serious insider info thanks to THE FULLEST Podcast guest and forever friend, Summer Sanders. Check out her local picks from hikes to healers.
Enchantment Resort Sedona
Set on 70 acres of panoramic natural terrain and located in the spiritual heart of Sedona, Enchantment Resort lives up to its name. Surrounded by the towering red rock walls of Boynton Canyon, it combines the rugged grandeur of the Southwest landscape, Native American culture, and caters to the adventurers and leisure lovers. All the rooms are stunning but if you’re looking to splash out, book one of their suites that are decorated in rich earth tones, high wood beamed ceilings, and include a beehive fireplace.
Ambiente Landscape Hotel
Okay, it’s not yet open but we’re beyond excited for Sedona’s first landscape hotel. The first of its kind in North America, it’s uniquely designed to blend into the mystical red rocks of Sedona through its minimalist atriums that are built with glass and rust-colored metals. Developed and owned by a Sedona family, it’s being built with a deep reverence for the land through sustainable, organic architecture.
Stunningly situated on the banks of Oak Creek — and accompanied by nature’s soundtrack of babbling brooks, chirping birds, and rustling in the trees — L’Auberge’s creekside cottages feature wood-burning fireplaces and spacious private decks. Their restaurant also offers creek-inspired fare and we strongly recommend their Mindful Dining experience.
The Agave Moon House
Intentionally calming interiors, stunning indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, a full kitchen, and views of the sunrise and sunset make this Summer’s favorite AirBnb. It’s also perched on one of Sedona’s vortexes, perhaps explaining why this house’s feng shui just feels good.
All organic cold-pressed juice, smoothies, healthy food, and more! Made with love and open seven days a week. My current favorite items are the Works Waffle (it’s gluten-free and made in-house) and the Galactic super tonic!
A fun vibrant restaurant with the best food. Jeff Smedstad, the chef and owner, is in the kitchen five days a week and it really shows. This is a place both tourists and locals love.
Dress up and enjoy the fun cocktails and the wide range of upscale menu offerings…but best of all is the view! Reservations are recommended, but you can always sit at the bar.
The best spot for locally roasted coffee and in-house pastries. Don’t miss Monday night pizza in the garden, it’s the absolute best. Live music and lush landscaping adds to the vibe.

Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village
This is one of the most magical places in Sedona when it comes to shopping. You’ll find local artists, galleries, cafes, but most impressive is the architecture and landscaping. You’ll feel like you’re in a Spanish villa.
Garland's Navajo Rugs
A classic spot for rugs and native jewelry, which is locally owned and operated by the Garland family.
This is THE Sedona crystal shop. You need not go anywhere else. Not only will you find the best assortment of crystals, you’ll find all things woo woo and awesome. After all, when in Sedona…
There are so many hiking trails, it’s worth stopping at the visitors center to get free maps and directions to unique places…but a few favorites are Cathedral, West Fork, and Devil’s Bridge! Bring more water than you think! Also check out the local parks, Sunset and Posse, and don’t miss Red Rock Crossing!
