Today, we welcome Dr. Roy Nambudripad, a pioneer and practitioner of NAET (Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Techniques), to the podcast. This healing modality is powerful and extends far beyond the common definition of “allergies.” In this technique, allergies are defined as factors that create sensitivity in the body — this can of course be food, like peanuts, but it can also be emotional and environmental sensitivities.
The technique is a non-invasive, drug-free, natural solution to alleviate allergies of all types and intensities using a blend of selective energy balancing, testing, and treatment procedures from acupuncture/acupressure, allopathy, chiropractic, nutritional, and kinesiological disciplines of medicine. Like many innovative and alternative treatments, it argues that the current medical system is taught to look for and treat symptoms, rather than to look further to find their causes. NAET believes that when we look for causes, most could be found easily, allowing symptoms to be reduced or effectively mitigated.
NAET was first discovered by Dr. Roy’s mother, Dr. Devi S. Nambudripad, in November of 1983. However, Dr. Roy didn’t follow his mother’s footsteps at first. He initially completed his undergraduate and medical school education and four-year residency at the University of California at Irvine before getting certified in medical acupuncture and eventually moving into NAET. After exploring both fields, Dr. Roy saw firsthand the effectiveness of NAET and the positive impact on his patients and hasn’t looked back. Neither has Nikki, who also mentions her own personal experience with this technique and the way it has benefited her family’s health.
We encourage everyone to give this one a listen as even if you don’t suffer from allergies — there’s a wealth of wisdom to be gained for every person.
