From my earliest childhood days, I can say with confidence that I have always had a strong pull to the celestial sky. The moon, specifically, and her ever-changing cycles, have been one of my fondest curiosities in the blanket of stars. And as both my femininity and spirituality developed, I have always yearned to learn more about the moon’s fluctuating phases and the incredible connection to the feminine. It was Shiva Rose’s Moon Magic course that allowed me to dive even deeper into my wonderment for la Luna.
For years, I have been an avid reader of activist Shiva Rose’s holistic lifestyle blog, The Local Rose and can’t help but heart-eye emoji on every single Shiva Rose beauty product. So naturally, I was over the moon (literally) when Shiva launched her Moon Magic course.
This nine-module online comprehensive course was created to reveal ways to get in sync with the moon’s rhythm and guide you to a greater relationship with the moon. It covers moon history, feminine cycles, ceremonies and rituals, teas, tonics and recipes, beauty tips, journal prompts, mantras, and print-outs that bring you support and connection to the moon throughout the ebb and flow of her transitioning stages.
But how does an object that is 238,900 miles away from earth truly pertain to us? And why is it relevant to our deeper understanding of self?
“Women’s rights and voices are starting to come to the surface to be seen, heard, and acknowledged,” explains Shiva. “And that is not by surprise — there is a direct correlation between the moon and earth reemerging and the feminine voice.” The creator describes the tie between the moon and womanhood as a rebirth (think feminine cycles, mood changes, and goal shifts), and explains that the darkness and light of the moon is “all part of being fluid and in the flow of a natural rhythm — in essence, being in harmony with one’s true self.”
There is indeed a connection between all of the life forces, the seasons, and changes happening in nature that are equally occurring within ourselves. Shiva instructs us how to align and navigate our inner compass as the moon varies in its journey.
When we track the moon and align it with our deeper essence, we are unplugging, fine tuning, and channeling an inward connection. Our path towards manifesting relationships, careers, health, and so much more can be guided and inspired by the moon.
Now, I can’t reveal everything that Shiva Rose’s Moon Magic course offers, but if you’re searching for a tool to assist in harnessing the beauty, magic, and power of the moon’s wisdom, then this online series hosted by the Moon Goddess herself is for you. It’s an enlightening blend of factual, historical, and spiritual. Not to mention, Shiva’s soothing voice lulls you into a harmonious state. And don’t worry — the course is nothing akin to your high school astronomy textbook.
“As she retreats into darkness then builds towards her fullness, so do we. As she honors intuition and fertility, so do we. As she yearns for a balanced state with the sea, sun, and earth, so do we.”
