Sophie Jaffe’s Sauteed Banana + Almond Toast Recipe

We get it. On weekday mornings when you’re rushing to get out the door, it’s tempting to just grab the closest granola bar on the way to work. But do you really want to start your day with super-processed foods?

Show yourself some love and whip up this recipe courtesy of Sophie Jaffe, founder and CEO of the health food brand, Philosophie. This toast takes less than 10 minutes to make and is packed with all the protein and healthy fats you need to jumpstart your metabolism and stay satisfied until lunch time. Pop-Tarts be gone!

SAUTEED BANANA AND ALMOND BUTTER TOAST INGREDIENTS

1 slice of Gluten-Free Bread

1½ tablespoon of Almond Butter

1 Banana, sliced

1 tablespoon Green Bee Honey

1 teaspoon Bee Pollen

SAUTEED BANANA AND ALMOND BUTTER TOAST ASSEMBLY

1 | Toast your slice of bread (time it right so that it pops up right as your bananas are ready).

2 | Sauté the banana slices in coconut oil for one minute on each side in a pan on medium heat.

3 | Spread almond butter on your toast, add the banana slices, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle the bee pollen on top. Enjoy!
