The Beet Pray Love smoothie gets its color from bright red beets and berries, which makes it high in antioxidants, thus chock-full of an assortment of anti-aging benefits. This recipe also includes fiber from chia seeds to help keep you regular, healthy fat from coconut oil, and just a hint of ginger which gives it a nice little kick. We serve this to our clients at Kore Kitchen for breakfast — although it makes a great post-workout shake as well!

BEET SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS

½ cup beets, boiled and cooled so they’re soft

½ cup Strawberries, frozen

¼ cup Raspberries, frozen

1 Banana

1 inch piece of Ginger, fresh

½ Lemon, squeezed

1 tablespoon Chia

1 tablespoon Coconut Oil

2 cups Almond Milk

2 servings Protein Powder

Dates or Honey, to sweeten (about 2-3 dates or 1 tablespoon honey)
