An Ohio native, Amanda Kloots has played many roles since moving to New York: Broadway dancer, Radio City Rockette, head trainer at Body by Simone, and did we mention dessert blogger?

Amanda’s classes are a mix of dance and cross training with special attention on form and details to create a unique, fun workout that will have you drenched in sweat in minutes! Her creativity is unmatched, her energy is contagious, and her positivity everlasting. Amanda developed the jump rope method after years of trying different ways to stay in killer shape. She fell in love with the jump rope after discovering it’s the quickest, most effective way to get a full body workout in. She spent years creating ways to use it for more that just jumping.  It’s the ultimate prop to have with you at anytime, on any trip, and on any day.

We caught up with Amanda while she was in LA promoting her NYC jump rope class, The Rope, and asked her to tell us the seven things making her life better currently. This is what she shared:

I love taking class in NYC because often times American Ballet Theatre principals such as Misty Copeland or Julie Kent are right beside me. If that isn’t inspiration I don’t know what is! Ballet is my yoga. It resets my body. I especially love Nancy Bielski’s class at Steps on Broadway.
